The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only those items you desire. However any of the funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
BASIC SERVICES OF FUNERAL DIRECTOR AND STAFF FOR INDIRECT CREMATION.<\/td>\n$1,375.00<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Our fee for the basic services of funeral director and staff includes, but is not limited to, staff to respond to initial request for service, arrangement conference with family and responsible parties; arrangement of funeral service; preparation and filing of necessary authorizations and permits; recording vital statistics; preparation and placement of obituary notice; and coordination with those providing other portions of the funeral service, e.g., cemetery, vault companies and others as required. Also included in this charge are overhead expenses relative to our facility, such as professional licensing, legal and accounting fees, insurance, building and utility expenses, parking lot and grounds maintenance, taxes, equipment, furnishings, inventory costs, record keeping, and secretarial and administrative expenses.\u00a0 This fee is non-deductible. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This charge is already included in our charges for Direct Cremation, Immediate Burials and Forwarding or Receiving Remains.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
EMBALMING<\/td>\n$575.00<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Embalming is not required by law. Embalming is necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as Direct Cremation or Immediate Burial. (It is Chapel Of The Pines policy that there will be no viewing of an unembalmed body. An unembalmed body must be encased in a container which insures against seepage of fluid and escape of offensive odor.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is for service rendered in the preparation of the body other than embalming. These services may include, but are not limited to, bathing, disinfecting, cosmetology, dressing and placing the body in the casket or alternative container.<\/p>\n

USE OF FACILITIES AND STAFF SERVICES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Co-ordination and direction of visitation in state room at funeral home or at other facility for up to one (1) evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
FUNERAL SERVICE AT THE FUNERAL HOME OR OTHER FACILITY<\/td>\n$350.00<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Our services include coordinating and supervision of funeral service, staff supervision of committal or other disposition service, parking attendants and setup and use of funeral home facilities for funeral ceremony or additional staff necessary to conduct funeral service at other facility.<\/p>\n

In lieu of the Rental Casket or Cremation Container, you may purchase an Alternative Container or Wooden Cremation Casket listed on our Casket Price List.\u00a0 You may provide your own container, but it must meet with the Crematory’s Approval.\u00a0 If you want to arrange a Direct Cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The container we provide is a Cardboard Container. NOTE: Our Crematory does not accept Metal Caskets.<\/p>\n

The above Indirect Cremation Charge DOES NOT include Shipment Expenses (special packaging, postage and handling of cremains), Cremation Urns or Cemetery Charges. Our Funeral Home offers the Indirect Cremation Service as an alternative service to fill a need requested by some families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
